Recipient of the ASCE Hunter Rouse Hydraulic Engineering Award of ASCE (2010) and ASCE Hans Albert Einstein Award (2017) for “outstanding contributions to hydraulics and waterways”. Former Editor of the IAHR Journal of Hydraulic Research. Extensive experience in flow-biota interactions including fish swimming performance.
