Peter Goethals
Associate Professor of Applied Aquatic Ecology and Ecotechnology. Expert in bio-engineering, ecological monitoring, modelling and assessment, decision support systems for water management. PhD in Applied Biological Sciences (Ghent University, Belgium, 2005). Supervisor of the Aquatic Ecology research group (AECO), consisting of 25 staff members and about 5-10 master students. He is (co-)author of over 300 articles, of which more than 170 in journals ranked in the ISI Web of Science.
