ESR07 - Marcelo Ruiz
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with concentration in Hydraulics. I have worked in the Centre of Water Studies and Research (CIERHI) at the Escuela Politecnica Nacional (EPN) in physical and numerical modelling of Hydraulic Phenomena. I was also part of the Academic Hydraulics Lab staff at EPN. I was part of The TEEB Project Ecuador financed by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and EPN. The Project was about Ecosystem Services Valuation in the Coca River in Ecuador. I was ERASMUS MUNDUS full granted student for the MSc in Hydroinformatics and Water Management in the EuroAquae+ program. My Master thesis was undertaken at Deltares: a 2D Hydrodynamic Modelling of the Yi River in Uruguay
