Research Fellow in Environmental Fluid Mechanics, University of Aberdeen. Expert in environmental hydrodynamics with particular focus on turbulence and flow-biota interactions, including laboratory studies of flow fields around swimming fish. Developer of the Aberdeen multi-mode robotic PIV system and associated software SlugFlow that can be configured to operate in several advanced modes important for studies of flow-fish interactions in this project.
