Lecturer in Animal Physiology and Fish Welfare and Reproduction at University of Padua. PI in Ateneo project and participant in various national and international Projects on Fish welfare and Aquaculture. WG responsible in Italian Health Authority and Research Organization for Animal Health and Food Safety projects. Scientific responsible of research contracts with private aquaculture companies. Member of the Editorial Board of Animals.
Research topics: stress indicators in fish, molluscs and other specie to evaluate animal welfare in natural and rearing systems; fish reproduction and chromosome manipulation to improve aquaculture production.
