ESR07: Marcelo Ruiz

We are happy to welcome Marcelo Ruiz to the RIBES European Training Network. This week, he has joined RIBES as one of our early stage researchers.

Marcelo Ruiz's research will include hydrodynamics in relation to the fish swimming in flow. He is hosted by University of Padua, and will be supervised by Andrea Marion and Paola Irato.

Marcelo Ruiz, originally from Ecuador, has a master’s degree in Hydroinformatics and Water Management from the from the EuroAquae+ program. His Master thesis was undertaken at Deltares, an independent institute for applied water research, and consisted of 2D Hydrodynamic Modelling of the Yi River in Uruguay.
