ESR06: Alfredo Schiavon

We’re happy to greet Alfredo Schiavon welcome to the RIBES European Training Network. Last week, he joined the RIBES European Training Network as one of our early stage researchers (ESR).

Alfredo Schiavon will be hosted by IGB - Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries in Germany, and work on hydrodynamics in fish habitats and implications for fish behavior.  He will be supervised by Alexander Sukhodolov, Olexandra Shumilova, and Franz Hölker. As part of his project, he will persue a PhDin Biology at the Freie Universität Berlin.

Alfredo Schiavon has a Masters in Biodiversity and Biological Evolution from University of Milan, and his studies have included toxicology and freshwater biodiversity.
