The Research Institute for Nature and Forest (INBO) is a scientific institute of the Flemish Region (VLAGEW) Government in Belgium. INBO provides technical support for conservation of biodiversity and its environment, and for management and sustainable use of natural resources, which is essential to governmental policy of the Flemish Region. As a leading institute, INBO supplies information for international reporting and deals with questions from local authorities. INBO participated in projects managed under the FP7, INTERREG, LIFE+, COST, and HORIZON 2020.
