CONSORZIO DI BONIFICA ACQUE RISORGIVE
Consorzio di Bonifica Acque Risorgive (CBAR) is a public body, managed by its members, which coordinates public actions and private activities in the areas of water protection and irrigationin a wide region located within the Venice Lagoon catchment. The main responsibilities of the Consortium are: (1) to design, execute, maintain and manage land reclamation works; (2) to implement actions for soil conservation, use and management of water resources and environmental protection; (3) to contribute to public actions for the protection of agricultural water set for irrigation purposes; (4) to prepare the General Land Reclamation and Rural Protection Plan (P.G.B.T.T.).
